  • Offices at Hanscom, Offutt, Robins, Peterson, Tinker and Hill Air Force Bases

Business and Enterprise Systems

  • Deliver comprehensive IT solutions for the Air Force community and the Department of Defense
  • Acquire, operate and sustain enterprise IT capabilities
  • Offices are principally located at Maxwell-Gunter Air Force Base with other major units at Randolph, Wright-Patterson, Hanscom and Hill Air Force Bases.

Command, Control, Communications, Intelligence (C3I) and Networks

  • One of AFLCMC's principal acquisition directorates
  • Develop, acquire and provide product support for advanced fixed and deployable electronic, command and control, communications and cyber systems to assure battlespace dominance
  • Offices at Hanscom and Lackland Air Force Bases, with other major locations at Maxwell-Gunter, Lackland, Robins, Hill and Wright-Patterson Air Force Bases.

Fighters and Bombers

  • Research, development, production, testing, modernizing, fielding and sustainment of advanced fighter and bomber weapon systems
  • Offices at Wright-Patterson, Tinker, Hill and Robins Air Force Bases


  • Provide acquisition intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance subject matter expertise, tools, training and analysis to ensure intelligence supportability

Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance (ISR) and Special Operations Forces

  • Supply the warfighter with the world’s best network-ready ISR capabilities

  • Develops and maintains systems and solutions for rapid-response movement to locations around the globe, and the Air Education and Training Command (AETC) flight training and simulation mission to develop America’s Airmen

  • Provides core life cycle management of approximately two dozen different engine types for the Air Force and more than 40 international partners
  • Manages the Engine Component Improvement Program and critical sustainment engineering programs

Strategic Systems

  • Works with nuclear enterprise partners ensuring safe, secure and effective nuclear capability for the warfighter

  • Responsible for the planning and execution of all life cycle activities of the Air Force tanker fleet
  • Develop, test and support the KC-46 tanker system and modification and sustainment of the KC-135 and KC-10
  • Offices are located at Wright-Patterson and Tinker Air Force Bases

Technical Support

  • Provides vital operational planning and execution functions across the AFLCMC enterprise
  • Activities range from technical engineering services to cost estimation and financial analysis to program development and integration support to contract execution to system safety
  • Personnel principally located at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base

66th Air Base Group

  • Provides services to active-duty, Reserve and National Guard military personnel, DOD civilians and contractors working at Hanscom Air Force Base
  • Extends to more than 100,000 retired military personnel, annuitants and spouses in New England and New York

88th Air Base Wing

  • Operate the airfield and maintain all infrastructure at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base
  • The unit’s 5,000 officers, enlisted, civilian and contractor employees operate the installation, deploy expeditionary Airmen and defend the base and its people
