Are you ready to explore a federal career while you’re still in school, grad school or have just graduated? AFLCMC has a number of internship and entry-level development programs available, giving you the unique opportunity to find out about fields you’re interested in, build your experience and forge your career at a place where you can make a real difference.
Internships and Summer Programs
Our flexible student internship program is an exciting first step toward your civilian career with AFLCMC. Unlike your average summer job, you’ll get invaluable experience working on labor-intensive tasks and projects, giving you the knowledge and the skills you need to succeed. It’s an excellent opportunity to explore a variety of federal careers, and you could even be hired as a permanent employee after you complete the program.
We also offer exciting opportunities for college graduates to begin their civilian careers through our COPPER CAP, PALACE Acquire (PAQ) and Presidential Management Fellows (PMF) programs.
- Through COPPER CAP, you can gain experience at the heart of Air Force operations as a contract specialist, with ongoing mentorship and training.
- Through PAQ, you’ll grow into a leadership role within the U.S. Air Force as a full-time, salaried employee. You’ll also follow a two- to four-year training program and receive postgraduate and tuition assistance.
- PMF develops advanced-degree, top-performing candidates into leadership roles, with the potential to become a full-time, salaried employee upon completion of the program.
Find your passion and pursue your civilian career with AFLCMC.
